Stuart Peck joined the 14 News team in 2007 as the Western Kentucky Reporter.  Before coming to WFIE, Stuart was a reporter for WBKO-TV in Bowling Green, KY. While at WBKO Stuart covered the aftermath of the Lexington plane crash and reported on the burial of the first Bowling Green police officer killed in the line of duty.  

He grew up in Kansas City, KS where he graduated from high school.  After graduation Stuart moved to Bowling Green where he attended Western Kentucky University and studied Broadcast Journalism. 

While at WKU, Stuart spent three months living and working in London as an assignment editor for a freelance journalist agency.  He has also traveled to Paris and Rome. 

Stuart started his career at WKYU-TV as an associate producer and photographer.  He then left television to be the afternoon anchor and reporter for WKCT- Radio.  Stuart  has won several awards from the Associated Press, including one for a documentary on victims of Hurricane Katrina displaced in Bowling Green and another on his political coverage of the race for the 2nd Congressional District. 

During his career he has interviewed hundreds of people, including former Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher, former FCC Commissioner Deborah Taylor Tate, U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, U.S. Representative Ron Lewis, and his favorite, Mikey Teutul from the show American Choppers. 

In his free time, Stuart enjoys traveling and taking lots of pictures.  He also enjoys taking his two beagles Jessica and Abby for a walk.  Stuart will live and work in Owensboro, covering the news that's important to the residents of Owensboro and Western Kentucky.
