Nicole DiDonato joined the 14 News team in September of 2007. She started her reporting experience working in Northern Michigan for WBKB-TV in Alpena.
There, Nicole worked as a one-man band: reporting, shooting video, editing, producing and anchoring the 11 p.m. Weekend news cast. She was also required to do her own weather segment. On a few occasions, Nicole even had to sit in as sports anchor. You can imagine how well that went.
Nicole grew up in Metro Detroit and is a big Tigers fan. She graduated with a Communications degree from Oakland University in Rochester Hills. Prior to coming to Evansville, Nicole worked as a writer, associate producer, and production assistant for the top news station in Detroit, WXYZ.
Having grown up in Michigan and working in Northern Michigan, she has seen her share of snow and is happy to be leaving that behind for the time being.
In her spare time, Nicole loves weightlifting and running. That helps because she can't go a day without eating something sweet.
Nicole is very excited about living in the Tri-State because there is so much to learn and experience in the area.
